Here we have two Aquarius class cargo ships.
It was hard to get a decent picture of them but I hope you get a overall feel for the miniatures.
They were really fun to paint. I wanted to get a real dirty and worn feeling to them.
And seen here with an Frigate escort, for size comparison
For stats Im thinking something like:
Name | Scan | Sig | Thrust | Hull | A | PD | G | T | Special
Aquarius class cargo ship | 4" | 4" | 7" | 4 | 5+ | 2 | L
Type | Lock | Attack | Damage | Arc | Special
Defence turrets | 5+ | 2 | 1 | F/S/R | Close action |
But are more then happy to get input or ideas.
Edit -
Ideas from Michel saved here for future reference. Alternative stats:
Frigate size. 3dp. Sig 3. Scan 3. Move 6. Pd 1 A 5+.
If carrying fuel cat like 10+dp cruiser
No weapons
The idea is to use them as objectives or ships to protect in future special scenarios. A wolfpack submarine type scenario springs to mind, with a couple of frigate/destroyer size ships trying to protect a couple of cargo ships from enemy attacks close to a asteroid belt, close proximity to a planet or a background anomaly that will let me use the layers and have the "submarine" like corvettes or other smaller ships something to hide in.
The miniatures are from Brigade Models
